Our adventures in beekeeping wouldn’t be half as fun without the many people we get to meet. This is a small peek into some of our family, friends, and partners.

We love our collaboration bourbon-infused honey from Kaesebier Farms almost as much as we love our friends’ pastured beef!

Beekeeping is more fun in a club! Our home club is Prairie State Beekeepers Association.

Bees need queens. Andy put together a presentation on sustainable local queen rearing a couple years ago: Raising a Club. For the 2023 Summer meeting hosted by Mississippi Valley, we got to sponsor the first-ever Queen Bee Competition.

We are a proud supporter of the Lincoln Land Community College apiary.

Come on by Suttill’s Garden for your local & fresh veggie fix as well as visiting our bees. After harvest, you can pick up some honey produced right here at U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt Apiary! The Suttill family is honoring its own WWII vet with the name of the carrier he served on.

Ainsworth Confections in the Ozarks uses honey to make treats.

When we look for brewing supplies, we know we are in good hands with our friends at Bald Buddha Brewing (formerly Capitol City) Being able to sit down and have a craft beer while we decide is not a chore, either!
